It's a Fridate with my friend Hannah, were having our Hair make-over today. Well, I kinda started mine already on my Birthday when I had it styled and cut short, but the coloring I had it set aside because I promised Hannah we'll do it together after she gives birth.
Moment has come and time to decide. Hannah wants to have her hair done at Toni & Jackey, I want mine at Piandr'e. I asked Hannah if she knew somebody who had their hair dyed at Toni & Jackey? She said no, then I told her I know friends who had their's done at Piandre and I liked it. I had my haircut in Piandre but I never had my hair color done there, the best I've tried was at Antonio's also owned by Pin Antonio of Salon de Manila. I know there's a lot of good salons out there that'll do our hair like Salon de Manila, Basement salon, Louis phillip kee, Jing Monis, Henri Calayag or Alex Carbonell of studio fix in greenbelt yadiyadiyada. But we've contemplated enough to narrow down our selection to where is geographically closest to us, and the one that will still give us enough change since we plan on a retail therapy afterwaRDS----shopping! I've mentioned on my previous blogs that I'm not a shopper and I don't fancy that. Who am I kidding? Anyone who knows me well won't believe that. When it comes to shopping, I have to admit, I'm the Denial Queen! :)
Its almost 3pm im never going to have that forty winks, I have to fix up already. I'll post pics after our Hair make-over :)
.....Mark picks me up by 4pm....
I first wanted a full dye color, a blonde or a strawberry blonde, but then I realized I've been wanting to try hi-lite, lo-lite color. The last I remembered having hi-lites was 2007. So I showed Gerry the kind of coloring i want but maybe a little toned down to match my color. I said, i want something that looks different, a statement I can have and be described of besides being "fat" or "chubby", how about "the blonde" "balikbayan hair-looking" girl haha, then he laughed. i even said i want platinum please, then he said, he'll make it monochromatic...with a twist i really didn't know what he meant by that but it sounded nice, Monochromatic with a twist, a shade with the same hues but gets lighter is what went on my mind...basta, i like it, i like a lot of colors something when you see, you wont distinguish if twas brown, platinum, blonde or ash brown...so common let's do that.

this was the kind of hi-lite, low lite i asked but he will tone down colors a little bit

| Gerry, started with me while Hannah was doing her Allery test. |
Hannah had a haircut with fringe, full dye with hi-lite's. We enjoyed our "salon" time together and what's good is we loved the outcome and the colors we liked were achieved! I'm glad my friend Hannah liked and loved her hair make-over, it made us both very happy. My hubby was also there to wait for us. He just drank coffee, read magazines and patiently waited and paid for my hair make-over, yay, thanks paps! :)

Before and After.....(i had nothing but my phone cam, didn't give justice to our hair color kainis)...don't forget to tell your stylist to also color your eyebrows, though most of the senior creative stylist on salons knows that already :)
