Dinner at Cerchio

HighSchool barkada dinner date at Cerchio, Scout Limbaga. I heard and saw this restaurant featured at Urban Zone, knowing the Almario sisters  specifically Ivy Almario did the interior design made me want to go more since I've already tried Romulo's Cafe(sister restaurant/company of Cerchio and same interior designer), I want to see the bigger version and the restaurant they call full of cirles :) ok this confuses me though but i guess whatever or however you pronounce it its the same: i heard from Daphne at UZ she said (ker'kyo), when we were parking the valet and the front desk girl said the same, but when we were giving our orders the waiter said (ser'cho). Then the manager i heard he said (ker'kyo). okay whatever, but i'd rather listen to Daphne. :)


Mark and I arrived first, then Jen (who was at her house at the same street) then The Narciso's (Louise and Archie) then Jow!  Unfortunately, Tina couldn't join us, Arlene had a gig that we were supposed to watch but had to change plan, Lenis of course can't she's in Bataan and Kahlil really can't because she's in the U.S.

I then had my newly purchased skin sonic its my balikbayan friend Jen's new business, she's the exclusive distributor in the Philippines. I shall have a separate blog on this :)












We were supposed to watch our friend on her gig at Metrowalk, but we just went on a nearby place that our friend Jow suggested. And that's when and where I got sick, kasi we were seated outside, may nag-smoke and all the dust ganyan, inallergy nako! We had fun naman but I've been nonstop sneezing...Winner yung Chicharon bulaklak na kinain namin ni Jen with rice haha, half rice kme ni Jen :)

Earlier that evening, I met my friend Yish we had coffee and we ate at Tazza Cafe, since she wasn't able to attend my party. But before that I went to her shop and saw this beautiful wedge shoes, its ala Herve Ledger haha, very bandage look. Yish said its her gift na, yay! i wore it the same night! I also got this yummy chocolates from her shop in Banawe it's Wang Lai Mart, all imported products from Taiwan :) I bought one box for 80phponly, it really tastes good,I don't eat chocolates, but truffle chocolate, i luvet! :) and anything with hazelnut is yum!

ingat guys, its FLU season, 1week nako may sakit, at ang hirap, so take vitamins and try to stay away from dusts! :)

FIFTEEN TWENTY ONE, Bellagio Forbes Town Center Burgos Circle at the Fort!
DINNER WITH FRIENDS FROM THE SOUTH

Before eating, we ordered at Serenitea at Burgos The Fort, then we looked for a place to eat, most of the restaurants closed early, yung lang di mashado okay sa lugar. There are other establishment naman pero parang bar naman, ayoko naman non. But were lucky to find a Filipino Cuisine Restaurant. Fifteen Twenty one. The place is okay, But knowing its at the Fort and the place looks really expensive so the food matched the price and the place. Mark and I had Beef pochero at 450php and Steamed Family Rice at 155php. Our friends had the same then they added Bawang na Manok for 245php and sago't gulaman at 80php

I ate at Kanin Club the prices are almost the same, its not as affordable compared to those restaurants we go to but I suggest that you try it Filipino dishes are really good!

my 31st birthday

Yes! i'm proud to be 31, why? because... the fact is i'm 31, what's not to be proud of? i have a great husband who loves and adores me, i love my life, what's not to love? I feel proud because I've been blessed with 31 years of good life! And there's no point of hiding it. I don't get it why some people pretend and hide their age, bakit mag-aaply ba kayo at may age limit o sadya lang pinababata niyo mga sarili niyo? sinong niloko niyo? siguro yung mga naghihide ng age hindi masaya sa life nila? oh well, the hell i care! lol


I told Mark from the start not to have a party and no more surprises, because for years now na nagsusurprise party sha for me, lagi naman akong hindi naka-ayos, so i said i want to be beautiful kahit ngayon lang sa birthday ko (shempre, alangan naman may magsabi sa birthday mo, uy angpanget mo, asiwa naman diba, plastic muna, pag lumipas na ang panahon sasabihin nila uy di ka nakaayos nung last bday mo) i mean totoo naman, parang galing ako ng gym kahit di naman ako nag ggym! My theme for my 31st birthday is be beautiful, fab and glamorous! regardless if may party or wala, kahit mag-isaw lang kme sa kanto basta maganda ako yun ang gusto ko! (pagbigyan kahit wla ng lunas, ang importante, dreams do come true! lol) After contemplating, i said "Yes" to Mark (parang nagpropose lang?!) , okay let's have the party, besides its a celebration of life, and its always warm and great to celebrate birthdays with people who truly matter to me.

August 16, 2011: naghanap ng lugar ng pagdadausan ng party, i told Mark i want a place that's new to their eyes, a refresher, di mausok, maayos, malamig. At sa wakas may nahanap kame, special thanks to my good friend Gemma na bestfriend ng isa ko pang good friend na si Belle! The Roofdeck Bistro at examiner! never ko pa napuntahan, never ko pa nakainan, pero okay nman siguro, bahala na, tutal mabait yung owner :) ok naman yung place sabi ko kay Mark, in fact malamig, ang problema, wlang elevator, kamusta naman sa mga preggy guests ko? so text brigade na to, and event invite at FB with this warning "Ladies, there's no elevator so easy on the heels, the guys can handle the stairs"  Before texting everyone, i had to find a cake, yun lang hinihingi ko to blow a nice glam cake, buti may nag accomodate sa akin.


August 17, 2011: gumising ng maaga, nagpunta ng mall, naghanap ng isusuot. Maraming salamat sa Forever21.(plugging) Very affordable! Mark bought shoes din at Payless, pero di naman niya sinuot nung party! adik! nagpalinis ng nails sa Tips and Toes at nagpalagay ng eyelash extension,nagpa facial si Mark nagtext kay Gerain, owner of Roofdeck Bistro for the food....


August 18, 2011: gumising ng tanghali. Binuksan ang facebook, my phone had to be charged because nadrain na sa dami ng nagreet, super thank you sa mga naka-alala! nakarecieve din ako ng mensahe sa mga di makakadalo dahil may sakit, may problema sa bahay, may work, lahat yan naintindihan ko! (pinagpray ko pa yung iba na may sakit, so konsensha na nila if wala tlaga sila sakit). Meron din naman mga badvibes-- mga nagsinungaling na pupunta pero di naman nagpunta(i hate people who'd say they'll come but won't tsk! mahirap bang magtext???), anjan din yung dineadma ka lang wag lang makapunta (badvibes diba?) pwes burado na kayo sa buhay ko che!!! at meron ding manganganak na, na-excite ako, si walking buddy Hannah manganganak na :)


First stop! Adoration Chapel at St. Paul Apostle Parish in Mother Ignacia. I prayed really hard and thanked the Lord for a wonderful life,i thanked God for a healthy life and healthy marriage, loving friends... it rained really hard,i said okay lang po mag rain hard i love the rain, pero sana po before magstart party ko tapos na rin si ulan.
After praying, Mark and I ate and went to get my haircut at Piandre. Nakaugalian ko na to always have a haircut on or before my birthday, so I had it styled cut short and i luvet! at least nakablow dry nako bago pumunta sa party. Bongga! I was surprised to see my balloons, gift ni gemma and belya! ang cute pink and black :) eh bumili din kme ni mark pero walang name nagmamadali na kse haha.... my prayers worked the rain stopped. and here's the party....God is good!
