Let me start my first blog on a Monday morning November 15,2010. Pasensya na po dahil iam not a blogger, gusto ko lang i-share ang experience ko today.
Past midnight is usually my time of the day, as usual if not watching my favorite series, i turn to Facebook and twitter which are my daily dose besides praying! Ka BBM(Blackberry messenger) ko pa si Joseph-one of my best friends who is now in the U.S. for a vacation, so masaya...i was in a happy mood. Then all of a sudden i felt something was wrong...ok, ang desk ko kase is infront the windowe covered with a maroon curtain, sabi ko "shit! lumiliwanag na, puyat nanaman" so i jumped on my bed and tried to sleep---i snapped! i turned from sweet to tiger! (tiger meaning mad), parang i seriously want to slap anyone i see, even my husband who's just sleeping beside me for no reason gusto ko awayin, so nagpray hard ako so i won't hurt anyones feelings coz i really dont want to be mean to anyone..i slept over it the whole day. When i woke up at 530pm okay nako, Thank you Lord!
Mark arrives home and says we go someplace that'll make me happy...i have very simple needs and wants--sometimes i am hard to please but sometimes i am really shallow, so we decided since i've been craving for weeks now for Sonja's....which means delivery time for the items my husband sells for people from the South...we go at Serendra.
First stop, at St. Francis Square! i ran as fast as i can, at the esclator at my surprise i saw the lotto booth na parang nanalo nako ng lotto-walang pila(yung moment sa movie na slow-mo na maliwanag yung background) pagdating ko sa booth, the agent says “sorry po closed na,8:30 na,offline na po” i begged but there’s nothing she could do. I came back to Mark who’s parked right infront of the entrance building, and told him “hmp! offline na daw”, and finally the customer arrived--it was still a good stop-over, at least the husband was able to sell. Next stop, at Mckinley Hill and off to Serendra!

As we were parking at the basement, all i felt was excitement. As i reach the ground floor, the first thing i saw was Sonja’s and boy it was packed…the last time i entered Sonja’s was 2008 when i ate the very yummy Hazelnut tart..rushed myself in, asked the lady to pack two for take-out…i wish of taking home all that’s left, but the husband decided to just take two. oks na oks pa rin! at least that made my day!

as i exit the place a very bright light coming from High street captured my attention—and yes it was Muji! so i told my husband to window-shop…but our stomachs were grumbling in hunger, so we had to look for a place to eat not as expensive as the restaurants at Serendra, our favorite—Conti’s which is the most affordable place to eat is obviously is packed. We decided to walk at High street since there’s Fridays, Claw daddy’s Texas Roadhouse etc. way cheaper than those at Serendra, but had to make a quick stop at Muji! uhm ok, everybody loves Muji, i like the store interior and the way it says “no label quality products”… but man, its not cheap—expensive din, but its made in Japan so ok naman!- i think i just wanted to explore the world of Muji, para di ako ignorante and masabi lang na cool ako! in the elevator as we descend, here comes Rj Jacinto(habang naglalakad siya parang ang naririning ko lang "grab the latest Rj guitar" spiel)sayang di ako nakapag papicture!

Take Note talaga, ang glue nila ay mahalya! :0

Walking and looking for a place to eat, another shop captured my eyes it was Tempur! i really wish i could afford a Tempur pillow, the pillow i want is at 5,500php each for a medium, and you don’t just buy one but two para fair naman sa kama. Sigh, i’ve been wanting to have a Tempur pillow and a bed since October 2004, we even had that listed on our Bridal Registry at Rustan’s — asa pa! but instead of saying sayang! we left the shop with a big smile pa rin..until someone punk'd me grabbing my bag—haha it was my good friend Lyssan with Jay, the kids and their friends. Since i missed her sabi ko Tara, let’s take some pics together, and uploaded right away at my facebook account then left to look for a place to eat.

Just when we were about to decide on Friday’s, the manager says sorry Mam/Sir were closing early advised by the High Street management!….malas! but there's a good news naman, my cousin Florence Renee Rubio Bacay passed the Librarian Licensure Exams! kudos! again posted a status with this link on facebook: http://www.abs-cbnnews.com/exam-results/11/15 /10/prc-191-new-librarians-diliman-student-to ps-exam .

My cousins Kara and Renee and me were communicating at facebook, and sabi ko "uy mag kik nga tayo" and so ayun resked nalang ang get together naming mga girls :)
Moving back....
Mark felt i was feeling very unlucky, wraps his arms around me and says “Makati nalang tayo, at Tiananmen” i said ok! like i said pag minamalas ka talaga, sunud sunud…while waiting for a parking, the car behind us kept on blowing his horn, so that really pissed Mark off and drove towards Mandaluyong instead! WE finally landed at Charlie’s Grind and Grill…yahoo! at last makakakin na rin kami.. we always pass by this place but we never really ate there yet. My cousin Markee said we should try the buffalo wings and knowing my husband who's a spicy freak, Markee suggested to try the Punyeta sauce.(sorry for the word pero yun talaga yung word) and and first i laughed and said “lakas ng trip” and my cousin goes Seryoso kahit tignan niyo pa try it, mura lang food, you can share… so we followed the advice.. we had a black angus burger split in to two and ordered buffalo wings, and true enough there i saw Punyeta sauce haha, but Mark knew i was not into spicy food so he ordered the sweet honey whatever… grabe, we enjoyed and we will definitely come back—money was sulet for less than 500php we were so full!-better than Johnny Rockets(whatta waste of money sana nag Chili's nalang kami dati). And so, that ended my Phase! from Tiger to a delighted wife ;)
Here's what we ate....
